We just received another lovely gift from Mary Huxtable, this time an old Printing Press engraving of Axnfell House which her father had in his collection, he apparently used to have an old manual printing press that he used for a parish magazine that he produced back in the days when he was a vicar, not sure yet as to if this was when he was on the Isle of Man or later when they left the island for life back in England.
This has been really well looked after and we may even have a go at getting a few prints from it soon. either way it will be cherished and hopefully stay with the house for another 100 or so years.
